Share your most Outrageous Career Stories (c-Stories) (TM) How many times has a friend, family member, or co-worker shared an outrageous work story and you responded You Have Got To Be Kidding? This is how the concept of the website originated! As co-creators of this website, we’ve both held leadership positions and laugh often about the outrageous stories that occur everyday. We’ve also realized that we can all benefit from NOT taking ourselves quite so seriously! We hope you enjoy sharing stories and laughs as much as we have. Ask our Website visitors for their Career Advice (c-Advice) (TM) How many times have you wanted to ask someone for advice about a situation at work but didn’t feel comfortable? We wanted to create an interactive, safe place for you to go to get free advice from others who have been there – other people around the world who have been in similar situations that can tell you how they dealt with it! They can tell you what worked and what didn’t so you gain wisdom from their experiences! Additional Features of the Website: YouHaveGotToBeKidding.com Membership: This membership provides you with Career Newsletters (c-Newsletters) (TM) highlighting the story of the week, career tips, and much, much more! c-Seminars (TM): You can view on-line Career Seminars (c-Seminars) (TM) on specific career-related topics of interest to you, i.e. Creating your own Brand, Secrets to Success, Life and Career, Enhancing your Presentation Skills, etc. “Story of the Week” Contest: In case it’s one of those weeks and you don’t get to view all of our outrageous stories, website visitors will vote and the “Most Outrageous Story of the Week” will be highlighted. The winner will choose their prize from a selection of cool items! c-Coach (TM): On occasion, you may decide you want to engage with a professional career coach (c-Coach) (TM) for career advice or advice for a specific career situation. If you’re interested in sharing an outrageous career story, you have two choices. You can go to the first section on the home page titled “Share your Most Outrageous Career Stories” and type in your story and then select “category” and “industry.” As an alternative, you can click on one of the categories (i.e. Meet my Boss) on the home page which will take you to a web page where you can type in your story! From there, website visitors are free to post and exchange comments! If you’re interested in asking others around the world for advice, you’ll first go to the second section on the home page titled “Ask our Website Visitors for their Career Advice (c-Advice) (TM).” You then have two ways to submit your question. You can type in your question in the middle box and then select “category” and “industry”. As an alternative, you can click on one of the categories (i.e. Get that Promotion!) which will take you to a web page where you can type your question. From there, website visitors will share with you their wisdom and learnings from their own similar situations! It’s that easy! Keep it Private and Professional! Our intent is for this to be a fun, clean website where you connect with others to share laughs, gain wisdom and enrich your life and career along the way!
