The HR is having an affair with another employee and she has helped him get salary information of others, etc. so he could get a better raise. Can she be fired?

Hello, i have worked in Office work for the past 6 years and have enjoyed the accounts side, and the diary management etc, i just want more i am a real people person and want to work with people also as well as the paperwork side. Any careers you can recommend, ive done alot of free assesments and always come out with office and working with people, ie social worker etc. ia m 26 now so i need to get a move on and study. Any advice guys

Okay, so i have 2 best friends sam and jay, well jay dated this guy named Brent it ended badly with him breaking up with her and her getting really upset about it... and now sam wants to go out with brent!! Idk what to do..and im starting to freak out...i asked sam what she was doing and if she was going to date him and she said ya probably..i brought up the fact that jay would be upset and she said well they werent that great of friends..i was like what the f*** weve grown up together..idk what to do.. truthfully i would just dump sam as a friend..but im closer to her than i am to jay..so idk what to do?

I really wanted a job with a great company. I thought the interview went very well, now I am not so sure. I found out after the interview that I was mis-pronouncing the company name during the entire interview. Should I make a follow-up call to the manager and admit/correct my error? This is quite embarrassing; I do not want to tell my friends. Need advice on this oone.

Should you say you were downsized or resigned. Here are the pitfalls of each as I see it. If I quit without another job, I look like an idiot. But if I say I was downsized, and they see my sales numbers they will ask why a company would lay off a productive employee. Please help experienced !

Ok......so........I recently traveled to attend a work related conference and when I saw a senior colleague instead of giving me the friendly hug, he hugged me and gave me a kiss smack on the lips! Although I dont think there was anything "more" to this gesture it still weirded me out and made me uncomfortable - afterall we are coworkers. what should I have done?

I work in a toddler room at a daycare. I have a child that dies not know how to chew and therefore can not eat on his own. His mother has been coming to feed him one piece at a time. He eats it but then throws up right away. What can I do besides tell them to go to the doctor?
