A Poacher

A colleague poached my prospect once. I didn’t mind because I’ve learned that they were close friends. But, it seemed that he liked what he did. He talked with my other client for the second time. Should I directly confront him? Or should I tell our manager about what he did?

Still Hurting

I am newly hired as an account executive in a distributor company. During my first day, I bumped with a very familiar face… my ex-boyfriend. He worked there as an IT personnel. I can’t stand to see him every day. Our break up caused too much pain and I’m still hurting. What will I do to overcome this situation?

An Insecure Wife

My colleague’s wife is very jealous of me though I don’t have an affair with her husband. Her husband and I were just good friends. She always gives me a cold shoulder treatment and gossips to my officemates that I am a home-wrecker and that she suspects an extra marital affair between me and her husband. She even asked our HR Manager to terminate me. I really can’t stand that insecure wife anymore. However, I don’t like to resign just to avoid her. I’d like to prove to her that I have no intimate relationship with her husband. What will I do? What would be the best thing to do to stop her from ruining my reputation?

No one likes her

No one likes my boss, but I do! We get along quite well and she stays off my back. I just do what she asks because it's my job and I typically don't question, no big deal, part of my job. I feel uncomfortable when my colleagues complain about her because it puts me in a real bind. Usually, they nit pick about anything and everything they can. I try not to comment too much because I don't want to play both sides but I still need to maintain my friendships with my colleagues. Should I say something to my colleagues when they are talking about her or just keep quiet and listen? It seems they almost expect me to say, "She did what? You're kidding!"
